Terms of Service

Welcome to Vibetown. We're glad you're here. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are the agreement between you and Innolope LLC — the company that builds and operates Vibetown — and they explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return. We've tried to keep the language plain and honest, because a contract you can actually read is a contract worth having. Please take a few minutes to go through it; by creating an account or using Vibetown in any way, you're agreeing to everything below.

1. Who we are

Vibetown is operated by Innolope LLC, a company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, with a registered address at Ste A, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, Kent County, United States. Throughout these Terms, “Vibetown,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Innolope LLC. When we say “you” or “your,” we mean you — whether you're browsing as a visitor, applying to roles as a candidate, or posting opportunities as a recruiter. If you ever need to reach us about these Terms, you can write to us any time at [email protected].

2. What Vibetown does

Vibetown is a hiring platform that connects developers who love building with modern and AI-assisted tools to companies looking for exactly that kind of talent. Candidates can create profiles, explore vacancies, and apply to roles; recruiters and companies can publish vacancies, discover candidates, and manage their hiring. We provide the venue and the tooling that make those introductions happen, but we are not a party to the employment relationship itself. We don't guarantee that a candidate will be hired, that a vacancy will be filled, or that any particular outcome will follow from using the platform — we simply give both sides the best possible chance to find each other.

3. Who can use Vibetown

To use Vibetown you need to be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that's higher, and you must be able to form a legally binding contract. If you're using Vibetown on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and in that case “you” includes the organization. You may not use Vibetown if we've previously suspended or removed your access, or if doing so would break any law that applies to you.

4. Your account

Most of what makes Vibetown useful requires an account. When you create one, you agree to give us accurate information and to keep it up to date — stale or misleading details make the platform worse for everyone. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials safe, so please choose a strong password and don't share it. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, let us know promptly at [email protected] so we can help you secure it. You can close your account at any time; we may also suspend or close accounts as described in the section on suspension and termination below.

5. How we expect you to behave

Vibetown works because people treat it — and each other — with good faith. When you use the platform, you agree to act lawfully, honestly, and respectfully, and not to misuse the service or the people on it. In particular, you agree that you will not:

  • Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent profiles, vacancies, or messages.
  • Impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or send unsolicited bulk or spam messages.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data about users except through features we explicitly provide.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach our security, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.
  • Use Vibetown to advertise unrelated products, run schemes, or collect fees you're not entitled to.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

This isn't an exhaustive list, and the underlying principle is simple: use Vibetown the way a thoughtful, honest person would. If your behavior harms the platform or the people on it, we may act to protect the community.

6. Content you share

You keep ownership of everything you put on Vibetown — your profile, your vacancies, your messages, your uploads. We don't claim your work as ours. To run the platform, though, we need your permission to host, store, display, and share your content in the ways the service is designed to work; for example, showing your candidate profile to relevant recruiters or displaying a vacancy to interested developers. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting Vibetown, and you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it doesn't break any law or infringe anyone else's rights. If you delete your content or close your account, we'll stop displaying it going forward, though some copies may persist in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.

7. Our intellectual property

The Vibetown platform itself — our software, design, branding, logos, and the content we create — belongs to Innolope LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. We're happy for you to use Vibetown as intended, but that doesn't transfer any ownership to you. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or build a competing service out of our platform, and don't use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you without asking us first.

8. Credits, payments, and paid features

Some parts of Vibetown are free, and some are offered through paid features or credits — for example, credits that recruiters use to unlock candidate contact details or access premium tools. Where a feature costs money, we'll show you the price and what you're getting before you commit. Payments are handled by our third-party payment providers, and by paying you also agree to their terms. Unless the law requires otherwise or we say so explicitly, purchases and credits are non-refundable once used, and credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged. We may change our pricing over time, but any change will apply going forward, never retroactively to something you've already paid for.

9. Third-party links and services

Vibetown sometimes links to other websites or integrates services we don't control — company career pages, authentication providers, payment processors, and the like. We include them because they're useful, not because we can vouch for everything they do. When you leave Vibetown or use a third-party service, that service's own terms and privacy practices apply, and we're not responsible for them. Please use your own judgment.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work hard to keep Vibetown running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance, add or remove features, or change how things work as the product evolves. When a change is significant, we'll do our best to give you reasonable notice, but some changes we may need to make right away.

11. Disclaimers

Vibetown is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we put real care into the platform, we can't guarantee that the information on it is complete or accurate, that any vacancy or candidate is legitimate, or that using Vibetown will lead to a job, a hire, or any other result. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties that aren't expressly stated here, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You're responsible for doing your own due diligence before entering into any employment or business relationship you find through Vibetown.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Innolope LLC and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising out of or connected to your use of Vibetown — even if we've been told such damages were possible. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Vibetown is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that the law says can't be limited.

13. Indemnification

If your use of Vibetown, your content, or your breach of these Terms causes a claim against us from someone else, you agree to defend and hold Innolope LLC harmless from that claim, including reasonable legal costs, to the extent the law allows. We'll let you know if such a claim comes up and we can cooperate in the defense.

14. Suspension and termination

You're free to stop using Vibetown and close your account whenever you like. On our side, we may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your activity puts the platform or other users at risk, or if we're required to by law — and, where it's reasonable and appropriate, we'll try to give you notice and a chance to put things right first. When your account ends, the parts of these Terms that by their nature should survive — such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and the sections on intellectual property — will continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in Delaware will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the mandatory law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before heading to court, we'd genuinely rather talk it out — so if something's gone wrong, please reach us at [email protected] and give us the chance to make it right.

16. Changes to these Terms

As Vibetown grows, we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the bottom of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in another way too. If you keep using Vibetown after an update takes effect, that means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't agree with a change, you're always free to stop using the platform and close your account.

17. Getting in touch

Questions, concerns, or feedback about these Terms are always welcome. You can reach a real person on our team at [email protected], or write to us at Innolope LLC, Ste A, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, Kent County, United States. Thanks for reading — and for being part of Vibetown.
